Reading Reach Microschool provides reading and spelling lessons (TK-10th grade), dyslexia screening and intervention, educational therapy, multi-sensory structured literacy instruction, private lessons, group classes, summer programs, online tutoring, and homeschool learning pods.

Our one-on-one reading and spelling lessons are more than "tutoring". The Orton-Gillingham approach is used to teach reading in an individualized, direct, explicit, and structured way. Our evidence-based approach is helpful for all students but essential for individuals struggling with reading or spelling, including those with dyslexia.

Students are taught using evidence-based instructional practices and engaging academic activities, in a cozy group setting. We are a small community of homeschooling families with children ranging from preschool to 4th grade.
Our classes are instructed by a credentialed teacher with a Master's degree in Literacy and Reading Education, who is also a homeschooling mom. Our classroom holds a maximum of 10 students. We use a unique blend of Montessori and Orton-Gillingham methodologies, emphasizing structured literacy, and multi-sensory math, which are helpful approaches for all students, and essential for some. Foundational reading skills, such as phonological & phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and proper letter formation, are at the heart of our instruction. The curriculums we use to enhance instruction are based on foundational literacy, math, and science, and daily outdoor exploration.
To foster a connected community, we use a class communication app for parent-teacher communication, and often have monthly family activities or field trips. In our homeschool program, the children have the opportunity to socialize, have fun while learning, and participate in academic games and activities in a supportive and nurturing environment.
