Let's check out the canyon (low portion) of Santa Monica Ridge. This trail is part of the Del Mar Mesa Preserve area and is located off of Carmel Valley Road and Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road.

About the event
Drive to the end of the cul-de-sac to park. Street parking only. No restrooms onsite. We'll take the service road to hike down into the canyon to explore the trees and whatever else we come across. I have not done this hike before but it should be relatively easy. We have done the upper ridge in the past.
